Alexis Biddle Hellemn, 79, of Hudson, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2023, at her home in Hudson, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 7, 1943, in Valdosta, Georgia, to the late Hazel Lucas Biddle and Jimmy O. Biddle. Alexis was raised in Hamilton County, Florida, alongside her beloved sister, Susan B. Rivenbark, and her cherished brother, Jack Biddle. During her youth, she worked at the Jasper Fay Theater and Whites Hardware, a business owned by her father, Jimmy Biddle. She also dedicated her time and effort to Evans Products in Jasper.

Alexis had a successful career in the banking industry, spanning over 30 years, ultimately retiring from First Federal Bank. Beyond her professional life, Alexis had a passion for decorating her home for various holidays, tending to her beautiful garden, and cherishing moments spent with family and friends. She had a warm and welcoming spirit that made everyone feel at home in her presence.

Alexis is survived by her loving son, James S. Miller, and his wife Susan L. Miller; three devoted daughters, Kim M. Moody, Jackie M. Wayland, and Sarah B. Deas, and her husband Ralph R. Deas. She is also survived by her niece, Shawn Busby, sister-in-law, Debbie Biddle, and daughter-in-law, Vicki Hellemn. Her legacy lives on through her 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored.

A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on April 13, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or to Hospice in her memory. Alexis Biddle Hellemn will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her unwavering love and dedication to her family and community. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
