Allen Lee Smith, age 54 of Jasper, FL. passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his home following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Jasper, FL. Interment followed at Geiger Cemetery.

Allen was born on November 2, 1964 in Deland, FL. to Franklin and Evelyn Jones Smith. The family returned to Jasper when Allen was just two years old and he lived the rest of his days in Hamilton County. He worked for the State of Florida Department of Corrections as long as his health permitted. Hunting, fishing and playing pool were top of his list of things to do when he wasn't working.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Debra Easters Smith; his son, Brett Smith (Mia); his daughter, Amber Griffith (Benjamin); his parents, Franklin and Evelyn Smith; his brother, Darl Smith (Latrell); and seven grandchildren. Also surviving is his puppy and sidekick, Elsa Mae.
