Andrew C. Grover, age 97, of Jasper, FL. passed away early Monday morning, August 23, 2010 at Heritage Healthcare at Lakehaven Nursing Home in Valdosta, GA. Mr. Grover was born in Bangor, Maine to the late Alfred and Annie Grover. He served his country with a career in the United States Army Air Force followed by several years as a Civil Service employee. Mr. Grover moved from South Carolina to Jasper in 1978 where he made his home with his wife Rosa before her death in 2005. He worked hard as long as he was physically able in the lawn care business. Mr. Grover was a member of Bright Pond Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Russell Parrott of Valdosta, GA.; three grandsons and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 27th in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. with Rev. Gerald Smith officiating.
Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.
