Angela Smith Howell, age 58, of Lake Park, GA. passed away on December 26, 2022 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA. following a brief illness. While Angela's death came unexpected, she suffered for many years from injuries sustained in an automobile accident many years ago and has never really had a day without pain since then. Angela was a natural caregiver and opted to go to nursing school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for many years in the home health care industry. Her caregiving never ended as she cared for her mother (Shirley Hall Smith) until her passing in February 2022 earlier this year and continued then to help her father until her hospitalization just before Christmas.

Angela was survived by her daughter, Rebecca Wynne and her husband Brent; her son, Elijah Howell and his wife Jennifer; her father, Wayne Smith; a sister, Sharon Davis; and four grandchildren: Levi, Harper, Knox and Lawson.

Graveside services was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Evergreen Cemetery at 8th Street SW, Jasper, FL. 32052
