Anjanette Adams Radney, born January 18, 1972, in Valdosta, Georgia, to Dennis and Becky Jo Adams, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Jacksonville, Florida on December 4, 2024. Anjanette faced several health challenges over the past few years, including a diagnosis of leukemia. Despite these hardships, her resilience and spirit remained an inspiration. Anjanette was a vibrant, outgoing soul who cherished her family, friends, and community. Her warm spirit and zest for life brought joy to everyone she encountered.
From her earliest days, Anjanette was full of life. She discovered a passion for performing as a young dancer and thrived in competitions. During her time at Hamilton County High School in Jasper, Florida, she was deeply involved in her school community, serving as a Majorette and a member of both the Drama Club and Beta Club. Her natural charisma made her a cherished friend and classmate, always ready to lend a smile or a helping hand. Her infectious energy and enthusiasm for life were evident in every role she took on.
Anjanette pursued her education with dedication, attending Valdosta State University and later earning her bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida. Her professional life was just as diverse and dynamic as her personality. Over the years, she held positions as a Legislative Assistant for the State of Florida, a Patient Account Manager with HCA Hospital in Orange Park, FL, an Assistant Office Director for HCA Healthcare, as well as a Teacher's Assistant at Oak Hill Academy.
Beyond her career, Anjanette had a love for travel and relished time spent by the beach. Her happiest moments were those shared with family and friends, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Anjanette is survived by her beloved daughter, Jordyn Radney of Jacksonville, FL; her brother, Mike Adams (Jill) of Jennings, FL; her brother-in-law, Chase Cannady of Jasper, FL; and sisters-in-law: Kylie Wainwright of Jasper, Savannah Conger (James) of Hahira, GA; Jessica Hall (Cooper) of Atlanta, GA; and Dawn Adams Combass (Mike) of Jasper, FL. She also leaves behind her devoted mother and father-in-law, Debbie and Richard Mitchell of Jasper, FL, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will deeply miss her.
Anjanette was preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Ron Radney; her parents, Dennis and Becky Jo Adams; her brother, Preston Adams; and her brother-in-law Bryan Radney.
The family will celebrate Anjanette's life with a funeral service on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Jasper, FL. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow the service at New Hope Cemetery.
Anjanette Adams Radney will be remembered as a shining light, a devoted mother, and a beloved family member whose legacy of kindness, love, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
