Annie Lou Buckels Driggers of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, FL. on June 1, 2022.
Annie was born in Jasper, Florida and was one of four daughters born to the late Edward Walter Buckels and Floie Jackson Buckels. Annie and her husband Ranel were longtime residents of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a wife and mother first and foremost. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling. It was only after she got her children raised that she decided to go to work at Georgia Pacific for a few years. Annie was predeceased by her husband, Ranel Lavell Driggers, Sr. and her son, Ranel Lavell Driggers, Jr. She was also predeceased by her three sisters, Nell Commander, Florence East and Frances Matthews.
Survivors include her daughters, Marilyn Rowe (Mark) and Carolyn Mathis (Ken); her son, John Walter Driggers (Sue); grandchildren, Scotty, Kathryn, Doug, Missy, Jessica, Ranel and Michael; great grandchildren, Cody, Kaiden, Keagan, Keith, Cason, Trent, Nathan and Ethan.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at West Jacksonville Advent Christian Church.
Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, Florida.
