Annie Ruth Hudson, age 74, of Statenville, GA passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Valdosta. Annie Ruth was born in Lowndes County, Georgia on June 1, 1941 to the late Dewey H. Booth Sr. and his wife Ruth Terrell Booth. She was a store clerk and store manager for many years. In her younger years, Annie Ruth loved to play softball and maintained her love for the game over the years. When she was still able to attend church she did so enjoy her time at Fruitland Church of God. Annie Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Hudson, Sr. in February of 2014.

Survivors include two sons, Dewey Connell Sr. and Kelly Hudson, Jr.( Jennifer) all of Statenville, GA.; one daughter, Susan Flowers and her husband Kim of Elba, AL.; one brother, Dewey Booth, Jr., Jennings, FL.; two sisters, Patricia Dukes (Lee), Valdosta, GA. and Diane McCall (Donald), Milledgeville, GA.; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; also surviving her is Donald Fender whom she considered a son.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 30, 2016 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home. Interment followed at Statenville Cemetery in Statenville, GA.
