Archie L. Waters, age 77, of Jasper, FL. passed away at his home on Saturday, January 12, 2019 following an illness of some time.

Archie was born in Jasper, FL. on May 14, 1941 to the late James Boswell Waters and Clydie Combass Waters. Archie proudly served in the Florida National Guard. He was a truck driver for Publix for many years in the Lakeland area. Upon retirement Archie returned to his native Hamilton County to enjoy a simpler life. He was a family man and dearly loved his wife Annelle and his three children. Archie enjoyed the challenge of building and the rewards of gardening. He was a faithful member of Harvest Fellowship Church. Mr. Waters was preceded in death by his wife Annelle in October of 2018.

Survivors include his two sons, Nathan Waters, Jasper, FL. and Steve Waters (Teresa), Lakeland, FL.; his daughter, Belinda Robinson (Mark), Lakeland, FL.; one brother, Laverne Waters (Ann), Lakeland, FL.; two sisters, Marilyn Carmichael (Lamar), St. Augustine, FL. and Susie Pearce (Jim), Lakeland, FL.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church near Jasper, FL.
