Ashley Powell, a devoted mother and homemaker, passed away on February 7, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Stock Island, Florida, and her life was a testament to love, family, and cherished moments.

Ashley began a beautiful journey with her best friend and husband, Matthew Scot Powell. Together, they built a life filled with love and joy, nurturing their children and creating cherished memories at their home in Jennings, FL. They were members of Bellville Baptist Church in Bellville, FL, where their faith and community bonds were strong.

A dedicated mother, Ashley found immense joy in spending time with her children.  Her nurturing spirit and unconditional love enriched their lives every day. Ashley also had a love for being on the water, a passion inherited from generations of fishermen in her family.  She found solace and happiness in the company of family and the tranquility of the water.

Ashley will forever be remembered and deeply missed by her husband, Matthew Powell, her son Cash Powell, her daughter Stella Powell, her stepsons, Lucas Powell and Nicholas Brannigan, her mother Elizabeth Thompson, and her cousin Katrina Keys, who was more like a sister to her.

A memorial service to celebrate Ashley's life will be held on Saturday, February 17th, at Bellville Baptist Church in Bellville, FL. The family will decide the specific time for the service soon.
