Barbara Louise McIntosh Peacock, age 76, of Valdosta, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Langdale Hospice House following an illness of some time.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery.

Barbara was born in Hamilton County, Florida to the late Frank and Mary Lou Smith McIntosh. She was married to the late Edgar Peacock until his death in 2001. Barbara was a homemaker and lived in Jasper until 1969 when she moved to Lake City, FL. In 2004 she moved to Valdosta where she made her home until her death on Sept. 4th, 2013.

Survivors include three sons, Brent Peacock, Gainesville, FL., Michael Peacock (Vanda) and Darryl Peacock, all of Valdosta, GA.; one daughter, Marjorie Johnson (Jerome), Brunswick, GA.; two sisters, Alisa M. Staats, Dowling Park, FL. and Judy Hodge (Dan) Greenwood, S.C.; four grandchildren, Jacob Johnson, Jennifer Robertson, Mary Angelyn Peacock and Dallas Peacock; two great-grandchildren, Aaron Robertson and Kylie Lynn Reiss.
