Betty Ruth Brearley, age 90, of Jasper, FL passed away peacefully at Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice Center on October 14, 2025. Betty was born on March 6, 1935 in Perry, FL to the late Biven and Ruth Ezell. Betty married William (Hank) Brearley and together they had two sons, Timothy (Timmy) and Anthony (Tony). Betty lived most of her life in Hamilton County, FL at "The Hill" off State Road 6 and was fond of dirt roads and country scenery. She was a homemaker and could often be found working in her yard, tending to her flowers and spending time with her dog, Skeeter. She was known to be quite the social butterfly and also an avid bargain shopper. She was a member of Corinth Baptist Church for many years.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her grandchildren: Jucinda (Tim) Stout, Katrina Ervine, Katlin Westrich, Antoine (Ryan) Brearley-Matthews and Brittany Brearley, her 10 great-grandchildren: Savannah, Payne, Kimmy, Anna, Autum, William, Tamatha, Londyn, Landen and Ava and her great-great grandchild, Ryder. Betty was predeceased in death by her husband, William (Hank) and her two sons Timothy (Timmy) and Anthony (Tony) as well as her brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at New Hope Cemetery on October 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
