Betty Louise Pollock Hill, age 88, of Lake Placid, FL. passed away Friday, March 9, 2018 at Lake Placid Hospital.
Betty was born on December 17, 1929 in Pelham, Georgia to the late Arthur and Annie Pollock. She met and married James Junior Hill of Jennings, FL. Eventually the two made their home in Clewiston and the family of two soon became five when they welcomed two sons and a daughter. Betty worked for many years as a hotel and restaurant manager while her husband worked at United States Sugar Corp. Betty was preceded in death by her husband in March of 1994.

Survivors include her two sons, Southwell Rodney Hill and his wife Christa of Clewiston, FL. and James E. Hill of Lake Placid, FL.; her daughter, Brenda Ann White and her husband Charles, also of Clewiston, FL.; her sister, Mary Kathleen "Kitty" Burnham of Jennings, FL.; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Sassers Landing Cemetery in Jennings, FL.
