Betty Jean Land, age 71, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Friday, August 30, 2013 at her home. Betty Jean was a native and longtime resident of Jasper before moving to Live Oak, FL. She was the daughter of the late Kirby and Gussie Amerson Robinson. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Land.

Survivors include one son, Leon Land (Candice), McAlpin, FL.; five daughters, Wanda Miley (Jack) of Jennings, FL., Regina Carter (Elbert), of Jasper, FL., Betty Ann McFarland (Randy) and Billie Jean Nobles (Anthony), all of Live Oak, FL. and Loretta Tyre (Rodney), of Jasper, FL.; one brother, Tommy Joe Robinson (Wanda), Jasper, FL.; six sisters, Myrtle Smith (Billy), Nellie Cunningham, Angie Padgett (Bobby), Jan Hunter (Hugh) and Janice Smith (Tom), all of Jasper, FL. and Brenda Thompson (Jerry); 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Suwannee Station Baptist Church in Live Oak, FL.
Interment followed at Dowling Park Church of God Cemetery near Dowling Park.
