Our beloved mother died peacefully in the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Dennis Nowak of Travelers Rest, SC. All three of her daughter's, Julie, Juaniece and Cindy, plus her granddaughter, Sandy, were with her when she passed, surrounded by much love. She died on Sunday, September 15, 2019 just a couple of weeks before her 85th birthday, and although Betty had a long lingering illness, she retained her sweet and loving personality throughout.

Betty, a city girl turned country, was born in Starke, Florida but grew up in Jacksonville, then she married a handsome country boy, Dowlin W. Morgan, and moved to the White Springs, Florida area for the rest of her life, only moving to live with her daughter Juaniece for seven years, after being disabled by illness, and then with her daughter, Julie for her last two remaining years. She has a natural fun loving, kind nature, and has been a delight to all those who have known her throughout her life. She has been a wonderful example of womanhood, mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and daughter of God.

Betty leaves a legacy of her love for her Savior, Jesus Christ, for all of her family, and forgiveness for all. Her legacy is passed on through her three daughters who try to follow the example and teachings of their parents. They all three love each other strongly, have no unforgiven issues between them and are unified in their love for our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, and for all of our family, as well as others throughout our lives. We have been there for each other and our Mother as she has fought her illness and will continue unified together with and for our families always.

Betty was predeceased by her husband of most of her life, Dowlin W. Morgan, and her husband, Carlos Peebles who blessed her life in her later years for too short of a time. She was also predeceased by her parents and all of her sisters and one brother, with one surviving brother, Carl Wilkinson. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Dennis Nowak of Travelers Rest, SC area, Juaniece and Robert Howell of Brandon, FL area, and Cindy and Gary Petrin of Williamsburg, VA area, with eight (8) sons-in-law and four (4) daughters-in-law. She has fifteen (15) grandchildren, fifty (50) great grandchildren, and three (3) great-great grandchildren.
