Betty Jean Wynn, age 81, of Jasper, FL. passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at Madison County Memorial Hospital in Madison, FL.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. Interment followed at Burnham Christian Church Cemetery.




Betty was one of ten children born to the late George and Wille Belle Waters Wynn. She was by nature a "little mama" and did not hesitate to lay a good whipping on any one of the brothers and sisters if she thought they needed it. As the years passed and she became Aunt Betty, she loved each and every one of those nieces and nephews. Betty had a dry sense of humor often catching people off guard with some of her statements. If you thought you were going to pull a fast one over on Betty, you better think again. There was one thing a restaurant with a buffet had better know and that was that Betty Wynn loved her some shrimp and would eat until her heart was content.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Ricky and Lawrence and a sister, Rachel Wynn Austin.

Survivors include two brothers, Jimmy Wynn of Gordon, GA and Jacky Wynn of Jasper, FL.; four sisters, Mattie Cook of Madison, FL., JoAnn Green, Elaine Griffis and Patricia Taylor, all of Jasper, FL.; numerous nieces and nephews.
