Mrs. Beverly Patterson Mickler, age 82, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009 at Dowling Park.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the First United Methodist Church in Madison.
Beverly was born in Monticello, FL. to the late Rev. and Mrs. Alvin Millard Patterson.
She married Frederick Troupe Mickler, Jr. (a Madison County native) in June of 1947. She lended him her support through medical school and a career in medicine. They made their home in Jasper for many years until he retired and they moved to Dowling Park.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Dr. Frederick T. Mickler, Jr.; five sons, Rusty Mickler, Columbia, S.C., Sam Mickler, Winter Park, FL., Ben Mickler, Birmingham, AL., Bill Mickler, Jasper, FL. and Jonathan Mickler, Tallahassee, FL.; one daughter, Beverly Elizabeth "Duchess" Brown of Tallahassee, FL.; one brother, Sonny Patterson, Monticello, FL.; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Our love and support is extended to the entire Mickler family. We appreciate the many years you gave to us in Jasper.
