IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bobbie Joe
Maine
September 2, 1965 – November 5, 2021
Bobbie Joe Maine, age 56, of Statenville, Georgia passed away at her home on November 5, 2021 following a brief illness. Bobbie Joe was born in Lake City, FL. on September 2, 1965. She was a homemaker and long-time resident of Statenville. She loved her children and her babies and loved spending every minute that she had with them. She was "MeMa" not just to her own grandchildren but to so many others in the community. She enjoyed coloring and taking up time with her dog Milo. Bobbie Joe attended Jesus Nation Worship Center as long as her health permitted. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Noah. As it is with many people, life was not always easy for Bobbie Joe but she was an encourager and had the desire to make peace anytime there was unrest. In the end, she hoped looking back over her life, she could say she did her part. In Proverbs 31:28 it says: "Her children rise up, and call her blessed; her husband also , and he praiseth her." It was evident in her passing that she had allowed others to see Christ through her and in the end, she closed her eyes and had no regrets, only love for those that surrounded her.
Survivors include her husband of almost 42 years, Robin Maine; her daughters, Jessica Hunter (Orvis), April Stabler (Andy) all of Statenville and daughter, Callie Henderson (Crick) of Fargo, GA.; eleven grandchildren, Parker, Caitlin, Ciara, Fisher, Gage (Carlee), Hailey, Kaden, Hunter, Chase Lee, Trenton and Halee; one great grandchild, Sawyer; her God-daughter Desi; Sisters-in-law, Diane Manac and Kathleen Kennedy; special friend Jenny Bolesta and lifelong friend, Linda Quiggins; extended family, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Pastor Davy Stabler officiating. Interment followed at Statenville Cemetery.
