Bobby Land, age 71, of Jasper, FL. passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. following a brief illness.

Bobby was born in Hillsborough County, FL. on March 16, 1948 to the late Clayton and Lessie Braswell Land. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Hamilton County Road Dept. for many years. Bobby enjoyed sitting around with friends and family and he enjoyed cooking. He lived in Hamilton County for over 40 years and was a former resident of Live Oak, FL.

Survivors include his son, Bobby Land, II of Jasper, FL.; three daughters, Chasity Padgett (Richard), Jasper, FL., Leanne Starling (Mikey) of Sylvania, GA., and Charlene Christie of Jasper, FL.; one brother, C.L. Land of Kentucky and three sisters, Claudie Hendricks, Tampa, FL., Jane White, McAlpin, FL. and Shirley Cannon, Chiefland, FL.; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and one on the way.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL. with Pastor Roger Hutto officiating.
