Bobby Alvin Tyre, age 73, of Live Oak, FL. passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Shands Hospital in Live Oak, FL. following an extended illness. Bobby was a retired farmer. He was the son of the late Alvin and Ethel Dempsey Tyre. Bobby was also preceded in death by a son, Joel Tyre and a brother, Billy Tyre.

Survivors include three sons, Bobby Tyre, Jr., Lee, FL., Henry Tyre and Scott Tyre Robinson, both of Live Oak, FL.; two daughters, Betty Jo Brown, Crestview, FL. and B.J. "Scoops" Vann, of Live Oak, FL.; two brothers, Lewis Tyre, Homestead, FL. and Gene Tyre, Jasper, FL.; two sisters, Hazel Warner, Live Oak, FL. and Vera Brown, Macon, GA.; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL.

Interment followed at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
