IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bryan Lamar
Hammond
January 22, 1990 – January 1, 2019
Bryan Lamar Hammond, age 28, of Live Oak, FL. passed away on January 1, 2019 in Edwards, Mississippi while traveling out of town.
Bryan was born on January 22, 1990 in Jasper, FL. to Walter Lamar Hammond and Bobbie Jo Amerson Hammond. He might have been 28 years old but he was his mama's baby. Bryan's father died in Sept. 2001 and Bryan had to grow up quick and become the man in the family. He was a good kid and just like his father, he was a natural born mechanic. He didn't just work on cars, he climbed up into the motor. He didn't just work in a shop on cars, he stopped on the side of the road and helped people that were stranded by a car or truck that needed a little adjusting. Bryan loved people and he loved helping. He enjoyed the "Hippie Life" and could be found volunteering to work at festivals just to get to hang out "literally hang out" in a hammock when he made camp. He got tickled when he would tell his mom he was going to work with the "Free Lovin Foodery" at the next festival. He loved sitting around a fire and just chillin with his mom and their friends over the years. Bryan was preceded by his dad, Walter Lamar Hammond, his grandparents, Walter M. and Doris Hammond and Del Eugene and Thelma Amerson and a nephew, Derrick Matthew Webber.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Bobbie Jo and Neville Hunter of Live Oak; his brother, Dustin Hammond, also of Live Oak; and a half sister, Khristine Webber (John) of Colorado; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Harvest Fellowship Church in Jasper, FL. Interment followed at Hebron Cemetery beside his father Lamar.
