Mrs. Buna Peterson, 83, went home to her eternal reward on January 6, 2011.

Buna was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, C.W. Peterson, and her son, William David Peterson. She is survived by two children, Thomas Michael Peterson and his wife Nanette (Westville, FL), and Judy Ascough and her husband Wilson (O'Brien, FL), her daughter-in-law Pam Peterson (Longwood, FL), seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved brother and sister, Zerkle Webb (Auburndale, FL) and Ann Priest (Jacksonville, FL).

Buna spent her life caring for her home, husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed performing many tasks in her church, and was known to be an excellent and thorough teacher of God's Word. She enjoyed helping others and sharing God's goodness with everyone.

After enjoying a full and rewarding life, if Buna could say one more thing to all, it would be, "God is so very faithful. He has never failed me. Please give your life completely to Him."

Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 10th at Live Oak Church of God with Pastor Fred Watson officiating. Interment followed in O'Brien Cemetery.
