The family has prepared the following obituary and requested it be shared.

Carol Weeks of Jennings, FL, passed away in her home due to hurricane Idalia related circumstances on September 2, 2023.  Born in Ft. Wayne, IN, she is preceded in death by her parents, Art and Kay Rufner.  She leaves behind her loving husband, Lloyd Weeks of 34 years.  She was a loving and devoted wife and mom of two children and many grand-children.  She cared for her mother-in-law and her husband devotedly and unselfishly and will be forever cherished by her family.  She worked as church secretary for New Hope Baptist Church and loved serving others.
