Carolyn Ann Overstreet Caldwell of Parker, Florida was called home by her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Carolyn Ann was born on December 26, 1931 in Tifton, Georgia to Henry Clay Overstreet and Cynthia Lewis Overstreet. Her family moved to Jasper, Florida when she was 13 and there she met the love of her life, Harold Carlton Caldwell. They were married on July 2, 1949 and for the next 24 years she supported her husband in his US Air Force career as they raised their family. After moving to Parker, she completed nursing training and first worked at Bay Memorial Hospital, then later for pediatrician Dr. Randall Humphreys in Panama City, Florida. The most important aspect of her life was her family; she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt.

Carolyn Ann was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of nearly 66 years, Harold Carlton Caldwell, Sr.; two daughters, Cynthia Ellen and husband Mike Weston, and Nancy Caldwell; two sons, Hal and wife Mavis Caldwell, and Richard and wife Nelda Caldwell. She leaves behind four beloved grandchildren; grandson Ken and wife Rendi Caldwell; three granddaughters, Jill and husband Brock Felthoff, Ali and husband Kris Radican, and Katie and husband Bryan Chapman. She was blessed with twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews in the Caldwell family of Jasper, Florida.


Funeral services were held in Jasper, Florida on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Harry T. Reid Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper, Florida.
