Cassi Braylyn Taylor

Cassi Braylyn Taylor, age 20, passed away on August 31, 2026, in Titusville, Florida, as a result of a tragic automobile accident.

Cassi was born on June 28, 2006, in Lake City, Florida. She was a beloved daughter, and her life was filled with promise, love, and the hopes and dreams of a young woman just beginning her journey.

She was a bright, comforting presence whose kindness left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Defined by a genuinely sweet nature and an overflowing heart, Cassi possessed a unique gift for making people feel seen, cherished, and protected.

Her proudest achievement in life was her devotion to family and friendship. Being a big sister was not just a role for Cassi—it was her defining passion. She naturalized the art of caring for others, stepping seamlessly into the role of a big sister for anyone who crossed her path. It mattered little whether you were a lifelong companion, a new acquaintance, or even older than she was; if you were in Cassi’s life, you were looked after, guided, and loved with the fierce loyalty of an elder sibling.

Her warmth and unwavering support turned friends into family. Cassi’s legacy lives on in the endless small acts of love she shared, the comfort she provided in moments of need, and the deep, enduring bonds she created. She will be remembered not only for the sweet soul she was, but for the compassionate big sister she chose to be in the world.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather Dana and Scott Burke; father and stepmother Travis and Kasey Taylor; her sister Lexi Burke; her brothers Tatum and Carter Taylor and Jax Burke; her maternal grandparents Chris and Kelinda Hughes and paternal grandparents Chris and Loretta Taylor; her aunts, uncles and many cousins; and all her loving friends and extended family.

Celebration of Life is September 26th, 2026, starting at 12:00 p.m., at Liberty Park located 895 Carlyle St SE Palm Bay, FL 32909, with additional parking on Starland St.

An additional Celebration of Life will be held on October 3, 2026, in her hometown of Jasper, Florida, at First Baptist Church of Jasper from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
