Catherine "Kitty" Minns, age 90, of Jasper, FL. passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at her home. Families are often told a person "waits" on someone or something before they will let go of this world and it would seem Kitty was waiting for her 90th birthday. She was born January 14, 1926 in Christiana, Delaware to the late Norman and Viola Long Cleaves. Kitty worked for many years as a hairdresser. She moved to Jasper from Alabama some 10 years ago.

Survivors include her daughter, Viola "Rusty" Wright of Jasper, FL.; two sons, John Wright and his wife Jackie of Jasper, FL. and Richard Wright of Beverly Hills, FL.; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Live Oak, FL.

Interment will follow at a later date at Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery in New Castle, Delaware.


There will be no formal visitation.
