Obituary
Caulie Colquitt Ogburn, age 92, of Lake City, FL. passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Long Branch Congregational Methodist Church. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Columbia County.
Caulie was a native of Hamilton County born to the late Joseph Bailey Ogburn and Maggie Dees Ogburn. He served in the United States Navy and was owner/operator of his own garbage removal service in Orlando, FL. before retiring back to North Florida. Mr. Ogburn was a member of Long Branch Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ogburn; one son, Caulie Edward "Buddy" Ogburn (Letha); two daughters, Bernice Davis and Edna Barrs (Glen); two step-sons, Michael and Tommy Fields; two brothers, James (Amanda) and Jerry Ogburn (Carolyn); two sisters, Nettie Davis and Martha Brown; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
