Charles Fender, age 69, of Perry, FL. passed way Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL. following an extended illness. Charles was born in Lake County, FL. to the late Lonnie and Myrtle Douglas Fender (Sr.). He served his country in the United States Army 173rd Airborne Paratrooper Brigade. Following his time in the Army he worked in construction and had a passion for horticulture.

Survivors include brothers, Drayton Ralph Reams, William David Reams and Robert "Bobby" Reams, all of Perry, FL.; five sisters, Nancy Ratliff, Perry, FL., Joan Williamson, Lee, FL., Jerry Ann Stanaland, Bonifay, FL., Sue Connell, Perry, FL. and Laura Carroll, Sebring, FL.; also surviving was his close friend, Faye Combass of Jasper, FL.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. was in charge of immediate arrangements.
