Cheryl Hutton Hunter, age 52, of Jasper, FL. passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, FL. from an apparent heart attack. Cheryl was born in Melbourne, FL. on December 28, 1960. She was employed by Fast Track Food Stores where she worked as a clerk and brightened everyone's day. She was a natural caretaker and while she could be as tough as she needed to be, she was known for her gentle and caring nature. She loved and cherished her family and stood in the gap as a substitute mother and grandmother for so many in the neighborhood and community. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Russell "Rusty".

Survivors include her husband, Gary Hunter, Jasper, FL.; one daughter, Shannon Boone (Mark), Jasper, FL.; three brothers, Randy, Billy and Roger Hutton, all of Dothan, AL.; one sister, Sonya McKinley, Dothan, AL.; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. with Rev. Roger Hutto officiating.

Per Cheryl's request she was cremated following the service.
