Obituary

On June 2, 1961 a special child, Christopher Thomas Lee was born in Valdosta, GA to the late Henry and Margorie Lee of Jasper.

He was a member of ARC of North Florida for many years and leaves behind quite a legacy among his friends and teachers there. Chris loved the Lord and was a very active member of his beloved First United Methodist Church in Jasper all of his life. He loved his Christian music as well as all other music. As a teenager and young adult man, Chris might be found walking most anywhere in Jasper taking Coca Cola breaks to stop and chat with neighbors a while. His parents, Nip and Marjorie never really had to worry about where Chris was because they knew he was among people who knew him, loved him and would look after his best interest no matter where he was. Everybody was a friend in Chris' eyes and Chris loved everyone with the kind of blinded love we should all be so lucky to have.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Henry "Nip" Lee and Marjorie Griner Lee. Survivors include his brother, Charles Henry Lee and sister-in-law, Barbara who have both dedicated so much of their life in the last few years to Chris making sure that his needs were met. Other family members also survive and grew up with Chris and feeling blessed to share in the joy and the light that he brought to all.

A memorial service is being planned to celebrate the life of Christopher Thomas Lee and will be announced at a later time. all friends and family will be invited to attend.
