Claudia Mathis, age 43, of Jacksonville, FL. passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at Florida Mentor Kinkaid Cluster where she made her home for a number of years. Claudia was born August 25, 1966 to the late Raymond "Jr." Mathis and Emma Murphy Mathis. Claudia will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Survivors include two sisters, Debbie Mathis, of Jacksonville, FL. and Beverly Halliburton (Russell), of Tennessee; nephews, Christopher Ford and Joshua Halliburton; great nephew and nieces, Elijah Ford, Emma Halliburton and Erika Halliburton.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 18, 2010 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. with Rev. Roger Hutto officiating. Interment followed in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, 8301 Cypress Plaza Dr. Suite 119, Jacksonville, FL. 32256.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home, Jasper, FL. was in charge of arrangements.
