Colen Lattimer Copeland, age 67, of White Springs, FL. passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, May 18, 2019.

Colen was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 29, 1951 to the late Earl and Edith Rathburn Copeland. He was a decorated veteran of the United States Navy. He was awarded the Purple Heart along with numerous service medals. Following his service in the Navy Colen went to work for Kennedy Space Center where he was a news director. Colen moved to Hamilton County in 2002 from Melbourne, FL. to escape the growing population explosion in South Florida. He found White Springs to be the perfect place to retire to. He had acreage enough to ride his horses to his hearts content. He also enjoyed archery, hunting, fishing and boating.

He enjoyed spending his time with the love of his life, Rosemarie. He is also survived by a brother, Stanley Copeland and a sister, Lynette Andrews.

Per Colen's request, he was cremated.
