Colton Lee McHaney also known as "My Little Buddy", age 22, of Lake Butler, FL. passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his residence. Colton was born on August 6, 1990 in Gainesville, FL. His hobbies included fishing, playing on the computer, playing guitar and like every young man, he loved his truck. Colton was loved by everyone who knew him. He loved spending time and getting in trouble with Landon, James and Cooper. Colton was preceded in death by his great grandmother and grandmother whom he was very close to, Mary Mack and Debbie Conner. He was also predeceased by his grandfather, Ralph McHaney.

Survivors include his mother, Daquiri McHaney (Brad Rimes), Lake Butler; his father, Daryl Leon McHaney (Sue Bowen), White Springs, FL.; one brother, Cooper Rimes, Lake Butler; grandparents, Betty and Harold Harless and Trent and Melinda Rimes.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 19, 2013 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. with Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating. Interment followed at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs, FL.
