Curtis Paul Sineath, age 41, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 after a three year battle with esophageal cancer.

Curtis was born in Jacksonville, FL in 1981 and lived there until moving to Live Oak, FL in his teens. He graduated from The Florida State University in 2007 and moved to the Chicago suburbs in 2008 after meeting his wife, where he remained until his death.

Above all, Curtis was a loving father and husband. When he wasn't spending time playing video games and putting together Lego sets, he was cheering on his Cubs and Seminoles. Curtis enjoyed helping his colleagues at The University of Chicago, and was a loyal friend to those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Corryn Sineath (nee Baczek), and his children, Caleb Sineath and Charlotte Sineath.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at Corinth Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Abbott officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery beside his mother.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association.
