Dale Eugene Prindle, age 69, of Jennings, FL. passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 at his home following a lengthy illness.
Dale was born in Union City, Pennsylvania on August 12, 1948 to the late Ransome Burton Prindle and June Pearl Keefer Prindle. He served his country in the United States Navy before becoming an electrician. Having served in Viet Nam, Dale suffered trauma that followed him the rest of his life but he was a man with priorities and that was one of being a great dad and grandfather. He is remembered for his concern for others when others were there to minister to him.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tanesha Wilkinson and brothers, Lawrence Henry Prindle and Ransome Prindle.
Survivors include his daughter, Kaleina Bourgeois and her husband Keith of Marion, New York; his brother, Stanley Prindle; half-brothers, Dan Prindle and Leon Chastain; his half-sisters, Gwen McCune and Georgia Lamming; five grandchildren, Trinity Bourgeois, Violet Bourgeois, Iris Bourgeois, Malia Wilkinson and Leona Wilkinson.
Services were held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with military honors for his outstanding service and dedication to his country.
