IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dalton Michael
Jordan
December 20, 2001 – June 24, 2022
Dalton Michael Jordan, age 20, passed away on June 24, 2022, at his home in Jasper, Florida.
Born December 20, 2001, Dalton lived in Hamilton County most of his life. Becoming a Jordan in 2011, he loved spending time with his Dad fishing and was at his best when casting for bass in nearby Florida and Georgia rivers. While he thoroughly enjoyed his Mom's cooking, he liked to play mixologist in the kitchen and create new sauces to go on almost everything he ate. As a young boy, he enjoyed LEGO®, Transformers and race car video games. As a teenager, he was always ready for new adventures and liked riding his dirt bike, 4-wheeler, and golf cart; watching gators in Okefenokee Swamp; and trekking the woods hunting snakes and lizards to bring home.
Dalton appreciated nature in any form from reading Field and Stream magazine for pointers on best fishing methods to watching Swamp People on TV. His family travels took him swimming in the Gulf of Mexico and both Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, walking along the streets of London, watching elk graze in the Smokey Mountains, and climbing redwoods in Northern California. He also enjoyed reading and recently completed A Land Remembered by Patrick Smith and Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
While he never forgot from whence he came, he knew who loved him, and he never failed to tell his parents the same. The refrain of "I love you, Mom and Dad" was freely given…at bedtime, on the phone, leaving for work, or simply heading outside. He is greatly loved and will be forever missed.
Dalton is survived by his parents, Troy and Regina Jordan, Jasper, FL; uncle and aunt, Kenneth M. and Darlene Daniels, Jasper, FL, and his aunt, Dr. Kellye K. Daniels, Natick, MA.
If you have any information that could assist in solving his murder, please contact the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at (386) 792-1001 or the Crime Stoppers Anonymous Hot Line at (386) 792-TIPS (8477).
Graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, FL, officiated by Dr. Phillip M. Jackson.
