Dana Simpson Corbitt, aged 40, of Statenville, GA passed away on July 17th, 2023 at home. Dana was born May 27th, 1983 in Valdosta, GA to the late Glen and Debra Simpson. Dana was a Registered Nurse, working at Tifton Regional Medical Center. On September 14th, 2002, Dana married her husband of 20 years, Jonathan Corbitt. Dana had an unwavering devotion to her faith and the Lord. She was a big fan of music, particularly gospel and music from the 1980's. Dana also had a fondness for butterflies. One of the things Dana loved most of all was her family.

Dana's survivors include her beloved husband, Jonathan Corbitt, her brother: Gregory Simpson, her sisters: Ivy Coody and Stevie Coody, her niece: Hali Simpson, her nephew: Wyatt Corbitt, and special friends: April Braziel, Nicole Corbitt, and Loriana Moore. Dana was preceded in death by her father: Glen Simpson, her mother: Debra Jacobs, and her brother: Brentley Simpson.

A memorial service will be held on July 20th, 2023 at the Statenville Church of God in Statenville, GA, with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM, and the service following at 11:00 AM.
