Debbie Bolesta Colbert, age 59, of Statenville, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at her home. Debbie was born on March 25, 1954 to the late Richard Douglas Bolesta, Sr. and Jean Louise Foreman Bolesta. She was a graduate of Hamilton County Hight School. Debbie was retired from the Valdosta Daily Times where she was a printing press operator. She was a friend to everyone and will be remembered as a dedicated wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, James Colbert; her son, Jamie Colbert and her daughter, Kimberly Colbert, all of Statenville, GA.; brothers, Richard and Dale Bolesta, both of Statenville and Ronnie Bolesta of Jennings, FL., step brother, Scott Howard, Cross City, FL.; sisters, Janie Spivey, Jasper, FL., Stacey Hughes, Statenville, GA., Laurie Lockhart, Ocala, FL.; step sister, Carla Howard of Cross City, FL.; her step mother, Jacqueline Idle, Cross City, FL.

As per her wishes, Debbie will be cremated. Interment in the family plot will follow at a later date.

Harry T. Reid Funeral Home was in charge of immediate arrangements.
