is obituary has been placed as a courtesy to the Papesca family.
Dolores A. Papesca,79, of Jasper, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Papesca, better known as "Chickie", was born in the Bronx, New York and moved to this area about 40 years ago from Butler, New Jersey. She was a long time member of Saint Therese Catholic Church in Jasper and enjoyed reading spiritual books, writing poems & songs and singing karaoke.
Chickie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years John H. Papesca; Daughter Tina Papesca; sons Johnny Jr. and his wife Kaitlin, Jay and his wife Diane and Joey; brother Philip "Bubby" Amrell and his wife Mary; sisters Karen Pinello and Lynn Lombard and her husband Lance; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, July 8 at Saint Therese Catholic Church, US Highway 41 N. Jasper Florida 32052 with Father Tony Basso as Celebrant.
Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery.
