Donald Joseph Boivin, age 74, of Jasper, FL. passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. Mr. Boivin was born in New York City, NY to the late Leo and Edna Metivier Boivin. He was a longtime resident of Massachusetts before moving to Florida some nine years ago. Donald's primary occupation was building fire trucks but he enjoyed building furniture as a second business and hobby.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Dolores Dumas Boivin of Jasper, FL.; two daughters, Doreen Vargas of Jasper, FL. and Darlene Boivin of Fairhaven, MA.; two sisters, Rita Hartman of Houston, TX and Joy Thumudo of Fairhaven, MA.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Per his wishes, Mr. Boivin will be cremated.
