Donald Gene Hackle, age 76, of Jasper, FL. passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Shands Lake Shore Hospital in Lake City, FL.

Memorial services were held  on Monday, November 7, 2016 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Hutto officiating.

The Hamilton County native was born May 18, 1940 to the late Major and Deloris "Dobie" Hackle, and graduated from high school here in Jasper. Donald was a salesman by trade. After living in Georgia and California, Donald returned to Jasper upon the death of his mother Deloris. Donald attended First Baptist Church in Jasper, FL. as long as his health permitted. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dennis Hackle.

Survivors include his oldest son Donald Lee Hackle and his wife, Janet of Leavenworth, Kansas; youngest son Martin Terry Hackle and his wife Amy of North Carolina, and daughter Robin Renee Lindblad and her husband Paul of North Carolina, and a total of four grandchildren.
