Donald "Don" Lee Daniels, fondly remembered as "Bubby" of Havana, FL. passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Don was a native of Hamilton County, FL. He was born in Jasper on February 21,1937 to the late Ed Daniels and Maggie Bembry Daniels. Don grew up on the family farm and worked side by side with his father and brother Ken. As a young man, he joined the United States Navy and served his country honorably for his given time. Upon returning to civilian life, he attended Florida State University and later graduated from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville with his Bachelor's Degree in hand. He entered the work force with Central Telephone Company and later retired as a Communication Engineer with the State of Florida, Department of Management Services. It was decided to organize a reunion on the Bembry side of the family and Don always looked forward to spending time with his Bembry cousins at the annual family reunion and was always willing to do his part to make it happen.

Don was an active and faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Havana, FL. where he was a member of the Adult Men's Sunday School Class. He loved singing in the choir and attending church wide activities. Don enjoyed his RV and entertaining at his lake house on Lake Seminole. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Shirley B. Daniels, his brother, Kenneth Edwin Daniels and his sister, Louise Daniels Ferrell.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Havana, FL. with Dr. Eric Erskine officiating. A private interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery in Havana.
