Mr. Donald H. Rhoden, age 87, of Lake City, FL. passed away on December 31, 2019 at Haven Hospice in Orange Park, FL. following a lengthy illness.

Donald was a native of Jasper, FL., born August 14, 1932 to the late Marlin and Sallie Register Rhoden. He worked for Borden Foods for many years. He later owned and operated the Chevron Service Station in Jasper before retiring and moving to Lake City, FL. where he made his home the last 35 years. Donald served in the United States Navy for four years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Libby Rhoden, his parents, Marlin and Sallie, two sisters, Mary Burr and Marlene Daley and a brother-in-law, Bob Tomkinson.

Survivors include his son Stanley Rhoden of Jacksonville, FL.; two sisters, Bernice Tomkinson and Judy Brittan (John); two grandchildren, Amy Sellers (John) and Adam Rhoden and one great grandchild, Emory Sellers; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Services were held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
