Donald Raymond Williams, age 65, of Jasper, FL. passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Lake City Medical Center in Lake City, FL. Donald was a native and lifelong resident of Hamilton County. He retired from PCS where he worked for a number of years as a First Class Oiler Mechanic. Donald loved being outdoors hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Handy Williams and Georgia Frances Grimsley Williams and a sister, Iris Langford.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Janice Simmons Williams, Jasper, FL.; two sons, Donald Ream Stokley and his wife Jennifer, of Charlotte, N.C. and Travis Williams and his wife Kristy, Lake Park, GA.; one brother, Jimmy Williams, Jasper, FL.; seven sisters, Maureen Waters, Billie Senea, Mary Frances Rhoden, Wimpy McCulley, Judy Smith, Annelle Waters and Ruth Cribbs, all of Jasper; three grandchildren, Kori Williams, Ben Stokley and Gracie Williams.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
