Dorothy Dolly Hurst Vanosdol, age 84, of Live Oak, FL. passed away in the early morning hours Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL.

Dorothy was a native and longtime resident of Jasper, FL. She was born on July 29, 1938 to the late Wiley and Geneva Allen Hurst and was a homemaker. She was "Granny Dorothy" to her four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dorothy enjoyed spending her time reading her bible and listening to music. She also enjoyed working puzzles and most any arts and crafts. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, Jesse Austin Vanosdol. She attended Jennings Church of God but she always followed where the Lord paved the way. She had a deep desire that her children and grandchildren know the Lord and she led by example. in addition to her husband Jesse, Dorothy was predeceased by her grandson, Michael Wilder.

Survivors include her son, A.J. Vanosdol of Valdosta, GA.; her two daughters, Sylvia Vanosdol of Ray City, GA. and Audrey Longino (Jim) of Live Oak, FL.; four grandchildren, Anthony Wilder, Jessie Wilder, Timothy Minton and Amanda Musick; five great grandchildren, Cameron Wilder, Samantha Wilder, Shelby Wilder, Alex Musick and Brianna Musick.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August 19, 2022 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. Interment followed at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in O'Brien, FL.
