Dorothy Louise Rosier, age 72, of Lake Park, GA and formerly of Lake City, FL. passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Ga.

Dorothy was a native of Alabama born February 21, 1946 to the late Hastie and Irene Lambert Richerson. Dorothy was from a large family and enjoyed all that came with having lots of brothers and sisters. She was a natural caretaker with brothers and sisters older and younger and later with her own children and grandchildren. She enjoyed activities that included her family. She loved to fish, garden, watch westerns, cooking and she loved to go the mountains. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Leo C. Rosier, Jr., a son, Troy Allen Hodges, a daughter, Karen Lynet Hodges and a granddaughter, Ashley Lynet Feagle.

Survivors include one son, Johnny D. Hodges, Ft. White, FL.; two daughters, Donna Lake (Roosevelt), Lake City, Fl. and Dora Jackson (Gary), Lake Park, GA.; one brother, Johnny C. Richerson, Lake City, FL.; one sister, Bobbie Blanton, Lake City, FL.; 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, FL. with Pastor Robbie Harrington officiating.

Interment followed  Mt. Zion Cemetery near Lawtey, FL.
