Obituary

Dorothy "Dot" Warren, aged 83, passed away Monday, February 15, 2021, at Shands Medical Center after battling a brief illness. Her daughters were at her bedside at the time of her passing.

Dot was born in White Spring, Florida, April 4, 1937 to Buford and Bonnie Bryant. She is survived by her three daughters, Christine Williams, Betty Jean Lamb and Deborah Ann Rogers (Douglas Rogers), three grandchildren, David Peterson, Danny Peterson and Georgia Rogers, and five great-daughters, Lesley Ann Peterson, Ashley Peterson, Emily Peterson, Kayleigh Peterson, and Charlie Peterson. As well as her two surviving brothers, Allen Poe Bryant and Johnny Bryant, and three sisters, Virginia Morgan, Bernice Morgan, and Sarah "Tootsie" Brown.

Dorothy was fortunate enough to travel and see much of the United States. But she always made her way back to her family in White Springs. She had a deep affection for all of her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family. She was a life-long member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Her service was held Thursday, February 18, 2021 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home.
