Earl R. Young, age 82, of Jasper, Florida passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Mr. Young was a native of Black Mountain, Kentucky. He was born December 17, 1929 to the late Owen and Mary Ditty Young. He moved to the Jasper area in 1966 from Valdosta and was retired from P.C.S. Phosphate. As a young man he served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Young was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Young.

Survivors include one son, Jimmy Young, Corbin, Kentucky; four daughters, Phyllis Skinner, Lake City, FL., Kay Winningham, Valdosta, GA., Susan Wells (Jeff Gause), Jasper, FL., and Paula Gail Hunter, Statenville, GA.; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; also surviving is close family friend, Ben Cox.

Graveside services were held Friday, December 14, 2012 at Evergreen Cemetery, Jasper, FL. with Rev. George Glover officiating.
