Obituary

Eddie Wayne "Doodle" Tucker, age 47, of Jennings, FL. passed away at his home on May 27, 2021.

Eddie was born in Valdosta, GA on April 2, 1974. He was always a ball of energy. Eddie did not mind working, in fact he was a very hard worker. He owned his own construction company, CBT1 and had recently purchased The Pirates Gold (formerly Cooter Jacks). On the weekends Doodle and family could be found at Steinhatchee fishing or somewhere in the woods hunting during hunting season. Doodle was just one of those guys that people were drawn to. His list of friends was endless. His smooth easy-going personality made him one of those people you could sit and talk to for hours. Doodle was by his own admission "a momma's boy" and he was not one bit ashamed of it one bit. He and his wife spent endless hours training Belgians pups together as a hobby. Doodle was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bo Bennett, his brother-in-law, Jeffrey Bennett and his paternal grandparents, Clyde "Ninnie" Pittman Tucker and James E. Tucker.

Survivors include his wife, Ida Carolee Bennett Tucker; his three sons, Brett Wayne Tucker, Branden Cleo Bennett Tucker and Brighton Clyde Tucker; his mother, Sybil Tucker; his father Eddy Tucker; brothers, Cole Tucker, Corey Tucker and Joe Daughtry "Sac"; his mother-in-law and step father-in-law, Carolyn Bennett Gritz and Jeff Gritz; and one precious granddaughter, Emmalynn Rae. Also surviving are some very special cousins who were like sisters, Doodle will love you always, and you know who you are by the love in your heart. His pups Chloe and Elton will forever being looking towards the heavens for his last command.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Jasper, Fl.

The church will be open at 10:00 a.m. for those that were unable to visit the evening before.

Interment will follow at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (Boney Bluff) in Echols County.

Per his longtime instructions, Doodle will be taken home to his mother's house on June 2, 2021 and the family will  receive friends at her home on Wednesday between the hours of 5:00-7:00 p.m.
