Edna Brown Marable, age 87 of Jasper, FL. passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs. Edna was born May 8, 1924 in Jasper, FL. to the late W.D. and Texas Johnson Brown. Mrs. Marable was always faithful to her church and taught Sunday School for 64 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Live Oak, FL. Mrs. Marable was preceded in death by her parents, W.D and Texas Brown and her husband, Matt Marable, Sr.
Survivors include two sons, Matt Marable, Jr. (Gayle), Jasper, FL. and Richard Marable (Lynne), Perry, FL.; one daughter, Delores Howell (Richard), Jasper, FL.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Monday, May 23, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Florida Baptist Children's Home, 8415 Buck Lake Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32317 or to First Baptist Church 401 West Howard Street Live Oak, Florida, 32064 or to your charity of choice.
