Edna Jestes Meadows, a native of Echols County, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the home of her niece in Echols County. Edna was the daughter of the late William Allen Jestes and Georgie Hunter Jestes. After moving to Hamilton County with her family, Edna met and married the love of her life, Fred Meadows who was to serve four years in the military. Following his discharge they moved to Michigan where she worked as a nurse's aide.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
